David’s Labyrinth
Free - Open-Air
A labyrinth is an ancient rite that fosters meditation. The circle symbolizes unity and wholeness; the spiral symbolizes transformation and growth. Walking the labyrinth toward the center facilitates the clearing and quieting of the mind. The central space is a place for meditation and contemplation, where we can remain receptive to the blessings of silence. The return path leads to the integration of creativity and the soul's loving power into the world. It is said that when the labyrinth is walked with an open mind and heart, it becomes a mirror that answers questions about who we are and where we stand on our life's journey.
Before beginning, it is recommended to pause, breathe deeply, and clarify an intention—remaining conscious and open to whatever arises along the way.
This labyrinth is a tribute to a great spiritual friend, David Monastirsky, and was built to celebrate the loving union of Hugo and Luciana.
Its creation was a collective effort by friends who, with dedication and affection, gathered the stones one by one to shape the labyrinth. Each stone placed represents the presence, love, and blessing of those who participated in its construction.
The inauguration took place on the evening of August 18, 2013. In a ceremony filled with meaning, the newlyweds walked the labyrinth together while their friends—the builders of this sacred space—surrounded them in a circle of love and presence, witnessing their union and the path they were beginning to walk together.
Since then, this labyrinth has stood as a symbol of Friendship, Community, Love, and Transformation, reminding us that life’s great paths are built step by step and in the company of those who walk beside us.

What is Meditation?
Meditation is not a destination. It is a path that begins exactly where you are.
Meditation is not emptying the mind. It is not about reaching a state of silent perfection. Meditation is simply learning to observe—with less and less judgment and more and more presence—what is happening within us.
